16^TH FLEETWOOD – SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!!!

What a fantastic turnout for the St Georges Day Parade in Garstang on Sunday, 25^th April.  All sections were well represented and well turned out- I am very proud of all of you.

The readers of prayers, poems and promises were all brilliant and as for the pageant-what can I say?  3^rd Cleveleys have a very hard act to follow next year.

I have received lots of feedback from throughout the district including emails and phone calls commenting on what an excellent job the group did.  This was the first time a group had been given so much input into the service and I am delighted that it all went so well.

I am not sure what the good people of Garstang made of the parade led by St George, two dragons and a whole crowd of sword wielding crusaders, but one thing is for certain, they won’t forget St Georges Day in a hurry.
